My laser hair removal treatment takes 8 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart to see 60 percent reduction in hair growth. For best results, I got maintenance treatments done once a year for 4 years . Now I don’t want to do this anymore!
what is the best way to remove them from now on ?

I just had my first laser hair removal treatment, my next appointment isn’t till the week of christmas. I was told to shave and NOT to wax/pluck. Can I bleach once before my next treatment..such as leave the cream on for 5 minutes then wash it off so that my dark facial hair will be less noticable and will reappear before my 2nd treatment. Should I do this, or not take a chance, I have black hair and have begun shaving above my upper lip but theres always this dark shadow in the area where I shaved. Any tips on how to cover this up with makeup or should I resort to bleaching? By the way I have olive skin.

Does laser hair removal WORK ON MEN'S FACIAL HAIR?

I was wondering that if a man undergoes laser hair removal treatment for his beard, moustache, etc. Will he be able to get rid of the facial hairs?? The only reason im asking is because men have testosterones which TRIGGER the growth of facial hair. so can laser hair removal stop the hair or not because of the hormones? Is it possible that a MAN can have a soft, hairless face if he undergoes laser hair removal for FACIAL hair??
thanks guys!

It’s really embarrassing, but I’ve had these little unsightly hairs on my chin for awhile. I noticed one or two coming in when I was about 15, and ever since then more and more have been coming in. I keep tweezing and trimming them in an attempt to keep them under control, but now it seems no matter how many I get, there are four more I missed! I don’t have hours a day to spend on keeping myself from looking like a bearded lady.

Now, to make matters worse, my skin recently became sensitive to most products (including perfume, fancy soaps, etc). I’ve become pretty much allergic to Nair (it gives me an exzema-like rash) and I’m starting to break out from constant tweezing and touching that it takes to rid myself of all these hairs. I haven’t had breakouts since my sophomore year, and now my chin is a mess! I’m sick of it, and so I’m considering Laser Hair Removal or IPL.

I am a very fair-skinned female, and my natural hair color is brunette. The hairs that give me so much grief are thick and dark- they look black on my skin, but may actually be dark brown (it’s hard to tell). I do have some light blonde hairs on my face, but I don’t care about them since they’re pretty much invisible! I’d be looking to have my chin and the underside of my neck done. Since I’m going to college (and would like to have Laser or IPL done at home, over breaks or something), I want to know how many treatments your AVERAGE facial hair removal takes- (i.e.how many treatments over how long?) – and how much the average chin hair removal treatment is going to run me- an example of how much yours cost (and the state you’re from, so I can keep the price in perspective) would be really helpful!

I’ve done some research so far, but I’d like to know if people have had good experiences with it, and if they recommend it to somebody like me. I’d like to hear some opinions and even some tips, and I’d like some general information. I want to do some more research before I decide to do it, so any help you have to offer would be greatly appreciated!

Lastly, I’d be happy to get some tips or pointer on what to look for when selecting a hair removal specialist!

Thanks so much!

I’m going for laser hair removal treatment for facial hair in four weeks. The doctor said I should not pluck or shave the area being treated. Is it okay to bleach the unwanted hair in that area or will that affect the treatment? Thanks.
